Apologies and Handshakes
So if you’ve been keeping score (and I know you have!) you might remember a while back I posted about my valiant, yet tragic, struggle with downloading a podcast that just wouldn’t be downloaded from Meet the Bloggers.
I won’t rehash the entire epic struggle, but the biggest problems I had with the whole ordeal was:
- my comment (at the time) was lost in the moderation queue, and
- There was no contact information available anywhere on the site!
Well, long story short I eventually got my hands on the podcast (That link works by the way, more on that in a minute) and for better or worse that was that.
Hold on Just a Minute There
The other day I was skimming through the comments left here, looking for a specific one to reference in a (still unfinished) article.
And found this comment from George Nemeth:
Sorry it was such a PITA. I’m uploading it now to archive.org and will change the link. I’ll also be adding my contact info…
Followed by this comment, which gives us the link to the full Michael DeAloia interview, in all of its glory, in a multitude of formats.
George, nice guy that he is, also added a link to some contact info in the sidebar so this kind of debacle doesn’t happen again.
So, in Summary…
After writing a long jerk post about how my comment was overlooked… I, uh, sort of overlooked a comment in response to my overlooked comment for over a month.
ahem…
Now that I’ve got my foot out of my mouth, apologies and handshakes to George for getting the podcast back up and in working order. Should we ever meet first beer’s on me.
And if you haven’t already, you really should check it out. It’s both super entertaining and ridiculously infuriating at how close us poor nerd souls in Cleveland came to national relevance.

Nice. No worries. I’ve been kickin’ around the nets long enough to know that things get heated some times.
